Documentary style wedding photos + films from small-town Pennsylvania and the East Coast

Storytelling

Your love story is a collage of late-night playlists, grocery store flowers, road trip polaroids, and inside jokes that only make sense to you.

And it deserves to be documented like that — honest, artful, imperfect, and completely your own.

Documented like a memory

It’s the way you hold hands in the car. The way they look at you when you’re not looking.

or spinning each other around in your kitchen,

Whether you’re saying your vows in your family’s backyard,

chasing waterfalls hand-in-hand,

With a mix of documentary-style and cinematic storytelling, quiet observation, and a love for the details most people miss, I tell stories as they’re felt — so you can remember them for what they were, not just how they looked.

my job is to preserve

what it actually felt like

There’s usually a camera in one hand and a thrifted tote in the other. I’ve been drawn to storytelling for as long as I can remember, filming family road trips, curating a secondhand closet, and telling anyone who’d listen that I wanted to be a photojournalist or work for National Geographic someday.

These days, I document love stories with the same intention and curiosity I once brought to backyard adventures and nature docs.

A photojournalist with small-town roots and a lifelong love of storytelling who’s always counting down the days until summer.

I’m Geordan

My approach is part photojournalist, part sentimental collector — observational, artful, and deeply human.

All about Geordan

When I’m not editing with an iced matcha or hot tea in hand (my go-tos, any time of day), I’m probably spending time with my siblings or planning our next get-together. Family means everything to me, and that shows up in the way I shoot, too.

love

From the start of our wedding day, Geordan showed up with the brightest energy and knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to do it to make our day look and feel straight out of a movie while we got to sit back and soak in every moment of our day. I knew I could count on her the entire day and night and seeing her vision come to life in the form of our wedding video was priceless!!!! We look forward to watching our video back every single year throughout our marriage and life together and reliving all of the moments thanks to Geordan. We love you!”

“There aren’t enough words to describe the pure talent, drive, and dependability that Geordan holds for her photography and videography.

Authenticity

Real doesn’t have to look a certain way. Sometimes it’s joyful, sometimes it’s chaotic, and sometimes it’s soft and slow. Whatever your version of authentic looks like, I’ll be there to observe and document. To tell your love story in all its layered, nuanced beauty.

Timelessness

For me, timeless isn’t about editing style. It’s about emotion. The kind of feelings that stay with you. Thirty, fifty, one hundred years from now, someone should be able to look at your photos and feel what you were feeling. Because real emotion is what’s timeless.

Observational

What interests me is what love looks like when no one else is watching. Maybe it’s fridge notes. Taking turns to water the pot of basil growing on the windowsill. Evening walks after a work day. My work is grounded in quiet observation — the kind that notices the ordinary and makes it unforgettable.

Whether you’re planning something big or keeping it close to home, I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up. Let’s talk details, dates, and how we can make something honest and artful together.
